Weight Loss Ticker!!

More updates... eh.

First up, CafePress.com is doing free shipping on $65+ orders, so if you want to check out my store, now's a good time!

As for life, well, things could be better, things could be worse.

At the moment neither my boyfriend nor I is employed. He did get a very good drafting job, but things didn't work out there. As for my job, it was actually costing me $20 a week to go there thanks to gas & day care prices. :(

In the meantime, I'm on the freelance list for my last employer, and I've offered to help train her occasionally in Photoshop and InDesign.

I've also finally finished putting up my art portfolio. You can see that at http://www.tokyo-nights.org/zeroart if you like. :)

I have a few more employment leads, so hopefully that all goes well!

I've also recently, as a birthday present, been able to redecorate my living room! I now have a nice relaxing reading corner, and there's finally some color coordination. It is WONDERFUL in there now.

Sorry for my lack of blogs lately, I'll try to keep them up a bit more. I'll also post more random photoshop experiments - most of my recent ones (that are any good) are in the web portfolio so feel free to surf around.

StevePavlina.com had an article suggesting that to get motivated & actually DO things to improve your life, you should spend 20 minutes every day (or whenever you need motivation) imagining that your life, right now, is perfect. Just imagine whatever your perfect life would be (making no compromises either - you can have super powers if you want). I've been trying that lately, and it's AMAZING how much more cheerful & motivated I become! I suddenly can't help myself, I HAVE to get up and do something productive. It's a bizarre effect. You guys should try it out.

Well, we have a family picnic tomorrow so I have to get to sleep. Goodnight everyone, I shall check in with you later.
